Job summary

HH Red Stone is seeking a motivated Leasing Manager to lead leasing and marketing efforts at The Haven in New Haven, Connecticut. This hands-on role combines daily leasing responsibilities with team guidance and performance tracking.

You will manage the prospect experience from inquiry to move-in, coordinate marketing, train staff, and ensure accurate records while following Fair Housing rules. Onsite work with weekend availability and strong base pay.

Qualifications

• At least two years of residential leasing, property management, or closely related sales experience.
• Ability to meet sales or leasing goals with strong follow-up.
• Experience training or leading team members preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfort reviewing performance reports to improve leasing efforts.
• Experience with property management software, CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and social media platforms preferred.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing principles; high school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily leasing efforts to achieve occupancy, leasing, and renewal goals.
• Respond to inquiries, conduct tours, explain options, and follow up with prospects.
• Maintain prospect records and ensure timely follow-up.
• Guide applicants through application, screening, lease signing, and move-in.
• Explain lease terms, rates, fees, and community policies.
• Coordinate with property and maintenance teams for availability and move-in readiness.
• Provide day-to-day coaching to leasing team members and train on tours and service.
• Monitor activity to identify opportunities to improve conversion and service.
• Coordinate leasing coverage with the Property Manager and report needs.
• Follow Fair Housing requirements and protect confidential information.
