Job summary

Asset Living is searching for a Leasing Manager to oversee leasing and marketing at the property. You will work with the Community Manager to set goals and develop a strategic plan to hit budgeted occupancy, lead the leasing team, and ensure resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities include staff coaching, marketing plan execution, event planning, and maintaining property standards. A strong focus on retention and accurate reporting is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or one year’s experience in the housing industry.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leasing Management
• Regular/daily onsite attendance is required
• Ensure staff leasing techniques are effective in obtaining closure and accurate documentation
• Audit lease files for policy and procedure adherence
• Address resident complaints and requests to ensure satisfaction
• Develop and implement resident retention programs
• Show, lease, and move in prospective residents
• Assist in developing the annual marketing plan and budget
• Execute marketing efforts and campaigns to generate traffic
• Monitor leasing/renewal progress and provide additional support as needed
• Plan and supervise leasing and renewal events
• Maintain knowledge of property, competition, and market conditions
• Utilize sales/marketing strategies to increase traffic and occupancy
• Coach staff to ensure policy compliance and effective performance
• Coordinate with Community Manager on staff training and development
• Ensure timely service requests and property appearance
• Plan use of property resources and obtain bids from vendors
