Job summary

2B Residential is seeking a passionate Leasing Consultant for GrandView Flats & Townhomes in Granger, IN. You will greet prospects, tour properties, and coordinate move-ins while delivering exceptional resident experiences.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, teamwork, and the ability to promote the community in the local market. Weekend availability is required and the pay includes bonuses in addition to hourly wages.

Qualifications

• Previous leasing experience preferred.
• Residential leasing experience and Yardi experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and host tours for prospects; follow up on guest cards.
• Ensure model apartments are tour-ready with cleanliness, safety, and stocked move-in gifts.
• Answer and distribute incoming calls and messages throughout the day.
• Receive and distribute all incoming mail.
• Assist with planning and hosting after-hours resident events.
• Assist in preparation of move-in folders and maintain business center, coffee bar, and pet bar.

Pay Range: $19.00 dollars per hour + bonus commissions

Schedule: Full-time position - Weekend availability required

9:00 AM - 6:00 PM in Fall & Winter / 10 AM - 7:00 PM in Spring & Summer months

What You'll Do

As a Leasing Consultant, you'll play a key role in achieving occupancy goals while delivering an exceptional experience to prospective and current residents.

Responsibilities Include:

• Greet residents and host tours for prospects, follow up of guest cards
• Ensure model apartments are in touring condition, ensuring cleanliness, safety and stocking move-in gifts and snacks accordingly
• Answer and distribute incoming calls and messages throughout day
• Receive and distribute all incoming mail
• Occasionally assist with planning, and hosting after hours resident events
• Assist in preparation of move-in folders, and maintain business center, coffee bar and pet bar
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of traffic activity by entering applicable information into Yardi
• Convert phone traffic into scheduled appointments with prospective residentsin order totour the community
• Ensure excellent customer service to prospective and current tenants, and promote a quality living experience for all residents
• Inspect apartments prior to resident move-ins and ensure apartments are in move-in condition by coordinating move-in/out needs and schedules with maintenance team
• Create and maintain confidential resident files, which includes reviewing move-in paperwork with new residents
• Ensure all open and close procedures are completed daily
• Assist with ongoing resident relations throughout occupant’s tenancy by ensuring occupant’s requests are responded to promptly and accurately
• Responsible for shopping competitive properties, and pursuing marketing opportunities with downtown business
• Assist with processing work order requests for residents and ensure work is completed in a timely manner
• Occasionally assist with planning and hosting after hours resident events
• Participate in company provided training such as fair housing, safety, non-discrimination, and harassment prevention.
• Comply with all company standards, applicable health and safety rules and regulations, as well as applicable local, state, and federal laws.
