2B Residential, a market leader in Class A multi-family management, is seeking a passionate Leasing Consultant to join our team at The Oasis at Hartman Lakes, a premier 55+ active adult community in Shiloh, Illinois.

If you enjoy building relationships, creating exceptional resident experiences, and helping people find the perfect place to call home, we'd love to hear from you. This is a full-time position with weekend availability and a pay range of $18.00-$21.00 per hour plus bonus commissions.

Qualifications

• Previous leasing experience (preferred).
• Residential leasing experience and Yardi experience (preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional customer service mindset.
• Self-motivated, organized, and detail oriented.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and professional demeanor.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and host tours for prospects, follow up of guest cards.
• Ensure model apartments are in touring condition, ensuring cleanliness, safety and stocking move-in gifts and snacks accordingly.
• Answer and distribute incoming calls and messages throughout day.
• Receive and distribute all incoming mail.
• Occasionally assist with planning, and hosting after hours resident events.
• Assist in preparation of move-in folders, and maintain business center, coffee bar and pet bar.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of traffic activity by entering applicable information into Yardi.
• Convert phone traffic into scheduled appointments with prospective residents in order to tour the community.
• Ensure excellent customer service to prospective and current tenants, and promote a quality living experience for all residents.
• Inspect apartments prior to resident move-ins and ensure apartments are in move-in condition by coordinating move-in/out needs and schedules with maintenance team.
• Create and maintain confidential resident files, which includes reviewing move-in paperwork with new residents.
• Ensure all open and close procedures are completed daily.
• Assist with ongoing resident relations throughout occupant’s tenancy by ensuring occupant’s requests are responded to promptly and accurately.
• Responsible for shopping competitive properties, and pursuing marketing opportunities with downtown business.
• Assist with processing work order requests for residents and ensure work is completed in a timely manner.
• Occasionally assist with planning and hosting after hours resident events.
• Participate in company provided training such as fair housing, safety, non-discrimination, and harassment prevention.
• Comply with all company standards, applicable health and safety rules and regulations, as well as applicable local, state, and federal laws.

What You'll Do
