2B Residential is seeking a Leasing Consultant for GrandView Flats & Townhomes in Granger, IN. The role focuses on resident tours, move-ins, and delivering standout customer service to prospective and current residents.

You will manage leasing activities, coordinate with maintenance, and promote a high-quality living experience, with weekends required and pay of $19/hour plus bonus commissions. Benefits include health coverage and 401(k).

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and host tours for prospects and follow up on guest cards.
• Ensure model apartments are tour-ready, with cleanliness, safety, and move-in gifts stocked.
• Answer and distribute incoming calls and messages throughout the day.
• Receive and distribute mail; assist with planning after-hours resident events.
• Assist with move-in folders and maintain business center, coffee bar, and pet bar.
• Maintain accurate records of traffic activity in Yardi; convert phone traffic to appointments.
• Ensure excellent customer service and promote a quality living experience for residents.
• Coordinate move-in/out needs with maintenance; inspect apartments before move-ins.
• Create confidential resident files and review move-in paperwork.
• Ensure all open/close procedures are completed daily.
• Support resident relations and respond to requests promptly.
• Research competitive properties and marketing opportunities downtown.
• Assist with work orders and ensure timely completion.
• Participate in company training (fair housing, safety, non-discrimination, harassment prevention).
• Comply with health and safety rules and laws.

Pay Range: $19.00 dollars per hour + bonus commissions

Schedule: Full-time position - Weekend availability required

9:00 AM - 6:00 PM in Fall & Winter / 10 AM - 7:00 PM in Spring & Summer months

What You'll Do

As a Leasing Consultant, you'll play a key role in achieving occupancy goals while delivering an exceptional experience to prospective and current residents.

Responsibilities Include:

• Greet residents and host tours for prospects, follow up of guest cards
• Ensure model apartments are in touring condition, ensuring cleanliness, safety and stocking move-in gifts and snacks accordingly
• Answer and distribute incoming calls and messages throughout day
• Receive and distribute all incoming mail
• Occasionally assist with planning, and hosting after hours resident events
• Assist in preparation of move-in folders, and maintain business center, coffee bar and pet bar
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of traffic activity by entering applicable information into Yardi
• Convert phone traffic into scheduled appointments with prospective residentsin order totour the community
• Ensure excellent customer service to prospective and current tenants, and promote a quality living experience for all residents
• Inspect apartments prior to resident move-ins and ensure apartments are in move-in condition by coordinating move-in/out needs and schedules with maintenance team
• Create and maintain confidential resident files, which includes reviewing move-in paperwork with new residents
• Ensure all open and close procedures are completed daily
• Assist with ongoing resident relations throughout occupant’s tenancy by ensuring occupant’s requests are responded to promptly and accurately
• Responsible for shopping competitive properties, and pursuing marketing opportunities with downtown business
• Assist with processing work order requests for residents and ensure work is completed in a timely manner
• Occasionally assist with planning and hosting after hours resident events
• Participate in company provided training such as fair housing, safety, non-discrimination, and harassment prevention.
• Comply with all company standards, applicable health and safety rules and regulations, as well as applicable local, state, and federal laws.
