2B Residential is seeking a Leasing Consultant for GrandView Flats & Townhomes in Granger, IN. This full-time role focuses on greeting prospects, giving tours, and turning inquiries into scheduled visits while delivering exceptional resident experiences.

Ideal candidates have leasing exposure, strong communication skills, and a customer-service mindset. You will work onsite, promoting the community and supporting move-ins with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Prior leasing experience preferred.
• Residential leasing and Yardi experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer service mindset with a professional demeanor.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and host tours for prospects, follow up of guest cards.
• Ensure model apartments are tour-ready and stocked with gifts and snacks.
• Answer and distribute incoming calls and messages throughout the day.
• Receive and distribute all incoming mail.
• Occasionally assist with planning and hosting after-hours resident events.
• Assist in preparation of move-in folders and coordinate move-in/out with maintenance.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records in Yardi and convert phone traffic into appointments.
• Promote excellent customer service and a quality living experience for residents.
• Participate in training such as fair housing, safety, non-discrimination, and harassment prevention.

Pay Range

$19.00 dollars per hour + bonus commissions

Schedule

Full-time position - Weekend availability required

9:00 AM - 6:00 PM in Fall & Winter / 10 AM - 7:00 PM in Spring & Summer months

What You'll Do

As a Leasing Consultant, you'll play a key role in achieving occupancy goals while delivering an exceptional experience to prospective and current residents.

Responsibilities Include

• Greet residents and host tours for prospects, follow up of guest cards
• Ensure model apartments are in touring condition, ensuring cleanliness, safety and stocking move-in gifts and snacks accordingly
• Answer and distribute incoming calls and messages throughout day
• Receive and distribute all incoming mail
• Occasionally assist with planning, and hosting after hours resident events
• Assist in preparation of move-in folders, and maintain business center, coffee bar and pet bar
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of traffic activity by entering applicable information into Yardi
• Convert phone traffic into scheduled appointments with prospective residents in order to tour the community
• Ensure excellent customer service to prospective and current tenants, and promote a quality living experience for all residents
• Inspect apartments prior to resident move-ins and ensure apartments are in move-in condition by coordinating move-in/out needs and schedules with maintenance team
• Create and maintain confidential resident files, which includes reviewing move-in paperwork with new residents
• Ensure all open and close procedures are completed daily
• Assist with ongoing resident relations throughout occupant's tenancy by ensuring occupant's requests are responded to promptly and accurately
• Responsible for shopping competitive properties, and pursuing marketing opportunities with downtown business
• Assist with processing work order requests for residents and ensure work is completed in a timely manner
• Occasionally assist with planning and hosting after hours resident events
• Participate in company provided training such as fair housing, safety, non-discrimination, and harassment prevention.
• Comply with all company standards, applicable health and safety rules and regulations, as well as applicable local, state, and federal laws.
