Job summary

Qualifications

• Clear verbal and written communication required.
• MS Word, Outlook, Excel basics; social media exposure a plus.
• Knowledge of leasing software such as Yardi, Blue Moon, Entrata, Onesite, MRI is beneficial.
• Ability to work weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospective residents and give tours while assessing housing needs and closing leads.
• Assist new residents with leasing paperwork, including applications, leases, and employment/credit checks.
• Collect security deposits, rent, and other move-in charges.
• Communicate lease and community policies to residents.
• Follow up with leads and prospects who did not lease; ensure units are move-in ready.
• Assist with marketing to attract new residents and support lease renewals.
• Respond promptly to calls, emails, and inquiries.

Leasing Consults play an important role in creating an outstanding living experience for current and prospective residents. This position reports to the property manager.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Greet prospective residents and give tours while determining housing needs, preferences, and closing leads
• Assist new residents with leasing paperwork, including applications, lease agreements, and employment/credit checks
• Collect security deposits, rent, and any other charges associated with resident moveins
• Communicate all lease and community policies to new and current residents
• Follow up with all leads and prospects that did not lease
• Ensure apartments are movein ready by inspecting, and adding lastminute touches when appropriate
• Seek out new residents with creative marketing techniques
• Manage the lease renewal process and retention efforts
• Respond promptly to calls, emails, and inquiries
