Job summary

InterSolutions, LLC is seeking an Apartment Leasing Consultant in Burlington, NJ. The role involves greeting prospects, giving tours, and guiding applicants through leasing paperwork, credit checks, and move-in steps.

You will collect deposits, explain lease terms, and maintain strong resident relations. Weekend availability and basic computer skills are required; training and career growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Basic computer knowledge including Word/Outlook/Excel.
• Familiarity with leasing software such as Yardi, Entrata, and others is a plus.
• Ability to work weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospective residents and conduct tours to assess housing needs.
• Assist with leasing paperwork, applications, leases, and verifications.
• Collect deposits, rent and move-in charges.
• Explain lease terms and community policies to residents.
• Follow up with leads and prospects who do not lease.
• Ensure apartments are move-in ready and styled with finishing touches.
• Market properties to attract new residents.
• Manage lease renewals and retention efforts.
• Respond promptly to calls, emails, and inquiries.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Greet prospective residents and give tours while determining housing needs, preferences, and closing leads
• Assist new residents with leasing paperwork, including applications, lease agreements, and employment/credit checks
• Collect security deposits, rent, and any other charges associated with resident moveins
• Communicate all lease and community policies to new and current residents
• Follow up with all leads and prospects that did not lease
• Ensure apartments are movein ready by inspecting, and adding lastminute touches when appropriate
• Seek out new residents with creative marketing techniques
• Manage the lease renewal process and retention efforts
• Respond promptly to calls, emails, and inquiries

Requirements:

• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and exposure to social media
• Knowledge of leasing software a plus including Yardi, Blue Moon, Entrata, Onesite, MRI, etc.
• Ability to work weekends as required
