Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in a customer service, sales or retail position.
• Previous leasing experience is preferred.
• Experience using Onesite or other related property management accounting software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of the leasing process, including traffic, qualifying prospects, leasing apartments, preparing lease paperwork and move-in paperwork.
• Answer inquiries via phone and email; schedule appointments; create and follow up with maintenance requests; resolve resident complaints.
• Stand and greet prospective residents, conduct tours, collect deposits and rent payments.
• Process rental applications and review lease agreements/renewals; answer questions about the community.
• Maintain courteous communications with residents, applicants, and representatives of other companies.
• Shop competitor properties and complete market surveys; manage marketing/advertising activities as directed.
• Review social media and ensure online reputation management; assist with retention programs and community events.
• Adhere to Fair Housing, ADA, and Injury and Illness Prevention policies; respond to inquiries three times daily.
• Aim to increase resident retention by suggesting renewal programs and retention initiatives.
