Job summary

The Woods at Perry Lane in Westerville, managed by Coastal Ridge Real Estate, is seeking a Leasing Consultant to support leasing targets and deliver exceptional resident experiences. You will greet prospects, conduct tailored tours, address objections, and guide applicants through the lease process with prompt communication.

This full-time, non-exempt role reports to the Property Manager and requires prior leasing/sales experience and familiarity with Entrata/RealPage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Willingness to obtain licenses/certifications for state/local jurisdictions.
• Previous leasing and sales experience preferred; multifamily or student housing a plus.
• Strong computer literacy and ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Familiarity with Entrata, OneSite or RealPage preferred.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a plus.
• Ability to participate in emergency duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to individual and team leasing targets, consistently striving to meet or exceed goals.
• Greet, engage, and build rapport with prospective residents, creating memorable first impressions.
• Provide property tours highlighting features and tailoring to prospect needs.
• Close leasing by addressing objections and securing commitments.
• Respond to leasing inquiries within 24 hours via phone, email, or in person.
• Maintain accurate lead information in Entrata and follow up with warm outreach.
• Develop understanding of site leasing trends and product availability to guide decisions.
• Ensure office, model units, clubhouse, and common areas are well maintained.
• Participate in community marketing, outreach, and resident events.
• Guide applicants through the application process and ensure lease execution accuracy.
• Collect move-in related fees and handle paperwork and funds properly.
• Provide excellent resident service and process service requests.
• Maintain and manage the waitlist and communicate updates to prospects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
