Job summary

Dominium is seeking a Leasing Consultant for Villa Hermosa, a 288-unit tax credit community in Albuquerque, NM. You will engage customers by phone, in person, and online, present properties, and guide applicants through the leasing and housing eligibility process.

You will conduct tours, follow company standards, and maintain accurate data in Yardi PMS while adhering to Fair Housing guidelines. Evening and weekend availability is required to meet leasing goals.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent education; sales or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written English communication.
• Friendly, professional demeanor with people skills.
• Able to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Greets and assists prospective residents via phone, email, text, and in person; build rapport and provide property tours.
• Presents available units, closes leases following company standards, and conducts timely follow-up with prospects.
• Inspects and “sparkle” homes scheduled for tours daily and ensures tour path is clean and presentable.
• Maintains familiarity with property features, local schools, hospitals, banks, shopping, transportation, and amenities; communicates these to prospects.
• Adheres to Fair Housing laws; completes Guest Cards and accurately enters data in Yardi PMS software.
• Guides customers through application completion and collects required documentation for affordable housing eligibility.
• Participates in off-site marketing activities and traffic-generating initiatives to support occupancy goals.
• Supports community events, assists with resident retention efforts, and completes projects assigned by the supervisor.
