Job summary

Freeman Webb Company is seeking a Leasing Agent to show and lease apartments to prospective residents and manage on-site operations. The role emphasizes resident communication, lease processing, and coordination with maintenance and staff to maintain community standards.

Responsibilities include following up with prospects, processing leases and deposits, and ensuring compliance with fair housing laws. On-site duties require strong customer service and organization in a dynamic apartment

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent preferred; or six months to one year related experience.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus for resident communications.
• Ability to generate reports and handle client communications.
• Familiarity with lease processes and community policies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with prospective Residents requiring information and current Residents with complaints or problems.
• Develops and maintains Resident relations through courteous on-site staff and prompt maintenance.
• Accompanies prospects to model apartments and discusses lease terms.
• Makes follow-up calls to prospects who did not apply.
• Completes lease forms and collects rental deposits.
• Substitutes for Assistant Manager when absent.
• Adheres to all fair housing laws.
