Job summary

Cirrus Asset Management is seeking a Leasing Agent in Torrance, CA. The role focuses on greeting prospective residents, promoting units, explaining terms, and maintaining files. You will work with the Property Manager and maintenance teams to ensure quality work and high retention.

The ideal candidate has leasing experience, strong customer service, and knowledge of landlord-tenant laws. This is a full-time on-site position with regular hours and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Property Management knowledge – Preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of leasing or sales experience – Preferred.
• Understanding of state landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing laws.
• Ability to work under pressure with a positive attitude.
• Familiarity with Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Greet and tour prospective residents.
• Promote available units and amenities via online platforms, signage, and outreach.
• Explain lease terms, application requirements, and pricing.
• Process and maintain accurate resident files.
• Coordinate with Property Manager and maintenance for quality work.
• Handle re-certifications, renewals, and retention efforts.
• Explain lease provisions and community policies to residents.
• Assist applicants with the application process.
• Create and update waitlists.
• Complete daily/weekly/monthly reports for Property Manager.
• Ensure resident satisfaction through effective communication and proactive issue resolution.
• Conduct move-in/move-out inspections with residents.

Job Description

• Greet and tour prospective residents.

Additional Information

Pay:$23 to $25 an hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8am to 5pm
