Job summary

Lynd Management Group, LLC is seeking a motivated Leasing Consultant at our Universal City, TX property. You will guide prospects from inquiry to move-in, delivering exceptional customer experiences and achieving leasing goals.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in leasing or related areas, strong sales and communication skills, and comfort using MS Office and property management tools. This part-time, on-site role offers salary-based compensation and opportunities to grow in a resident-focused

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years in leasing, sales, hospitality or customer service preferred.
• Strong sales, persuasion and closing skills.
• Friendly, enthusiastic and professional customer service.
• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with prospect management, follow-ups, appointments and deadlines.
• Familiarity with Fair Housing requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to use company technology, screening tools and property management systems.
• Ability to tour the property and visually inspect apartments.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to telephone, email, internet, and in-person inquiries.
• Build rapport with prospects and identify apartment preferences and needs.
• Schedule and conduct property and apartment tours.
• Communicate features, amenities and value of the property.
• Use sales and follow-up techniques to meet leasing goals.
• Process applications, screening documents, leases, deposits and move-in paperwork.
• Maintain accurate guest cards and files for applicants and residents.
• Walk apartments before move-in to confirm readiness.
• Proactively contact residents regarding lease renewals.
• Build relationships with apartment locators and referral sources.
• Complete market surveys and support marketing and outreach activities.
• Receive and follow up on maintenance requests and ensure completion.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• A valid driver’s license is preferred.
• High school diploma or GED.
• One to three years of leasing, sales, hospitality, or customer service experience.
• Strong sales, persuasion, and closing skills.
• Friendly, enthusiastic, and professional customer service.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage prospects, follow-up activities, appointments, and deadlines.
• Familiarity with Fair Housing requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to use company technology, screening tools, and property management systems.
• Ability to walk the property, conduct tours, and visually inspect apartments.
