What You’ll Do:

As a Leasing Consultant, you’ll play a critical role in the leasing efforts and day-to-day resident interactions at your community. You’ll create exceptional experiences for prospective and current residents while achieving individual and team leasing goals. This full-time, non-exempt position reports to the Property Manager.

Check out our off-campus student apartments in Tuscaloosa, AL, featuring 4- and 5-bedroom townhomes! Our apartments include upscale furniture packages, full-sized beds, desks, chairs, under-bed dressers, leather couches, chairs, end tables, coffee tables, barstools, flat-screen TVs, and entertainment stands.

What You’ll Own:

• Contribute to leasing targets, striving to meet or exceed goals.
• Greet, engage, and build rapport with prospective residents, creating positive first impressions.
• Provide property tours highlighting features and benefits tailored to prospects’ needs.
• Close leases confidently by addressing objections and highlighting benefits.
• Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, email, or in person within 24 hours.
• Maintain accurate lead information in Entrata and follow up proactively.
• Understand leasing trends, traffic patterns, and product availability to guide prospects.
• Ensure community areas are well-maintained and report issues.
• Participate in marketing, outreach, and resident events.
• Assist prospects through the application process, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
• Handle move-in fees, paperwork, and funds properly.
• Provide excellent customer service for resident inquiries and service requests.
• Manage the community waitlist and communicate updates.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to obtain required licenses/certifications.
• Previous leasing/sales experience preferred; multifamily or student housing experience is a plus.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Familiarity with property management software (e.g., Entrata, OneSite, RealPage).
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to participate in emergency duties as needed.
