We are seeking experienced leasing consultants at Appling Lakes Apartments in Cordova, TN. Ideal candidates will have experience in apartment leasing & marketing, resident retention, and relationship building.

Summary

The Leasing Consultant will conduct tours, complete leasing processes with prospective residents, and implement marketing strategies for the property. Responsibilities also include planning and hosting resident events and maintaining positive resident relations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Interview prospective residents and record information to assess needs and qualifications.
• Accompany prospects to model or vacant apartments, discussing layout, amenities, and lease terms.
• Follow up consistently with prospects.
• Process applications for approval in line with policies and procedures.
• Handle lease renewals as needed.
• Schedule move-ins and complete all lease paperwork with prospects.
• Inspect units prior to move-in to ensure readiness.
• Follow up with new residents post move-in.
• Periodic inspection of premises and coordination of maintenance.
• Plan and coordinate resident events.
• Handle resident requests and complaints courteously and efficiently.
• Assist with marketing duties, including market surveys and resident notices.
• Adhere to all company policies, including safety and Fair Housing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• One year of leasing experience preferred.
• Up to one year of related experience or training; or equivalent education and experience.
• Experience with virtual and in-person community tours preferred.
• Knowledge of property management platforms (e.g., Yardi, Entrata, Yieldstar, CRM) preferred.
• Marketing skills to execute property marketing plans via outside marketing, social media, and resident events (familiar with local market) preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills.
• A valid driver’s license and automobile insurance may be required depending on the property.
