Job summary

Westdale Asset Management is seeking a Leasing Consultant for their 390-unit apartment community in Stafford, Virginia. As a key member of the leasing team, you will connect with potential residents, show apartments, and ensure compliance with fair housing laws.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of customer service experience and preferably 3 years of apartment leasing experience. The position offers competitive compensation, various benefits, and requires a valid VA Driver’s License.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of customer service or sales experience.
• 3 years of apartment leasing experience preferred.
• Ability to type 30 WPM and be organized.

Responsibilities

• Greeting visitors and residents.

• Completing lease paperwork correctly and timely.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of customer service, or sales experience.
• 3 years of apartment leasing experience is preferred.
• Good leasing and closing skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to type 30 WPM and be organized.
• Computer skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Yardi or other similar programs.
• Must be able to work Saturdays as needed.

• Answering and returning resident calls, as well as email requests
• Completing guest cards and lease paperwork correctly and timely
• Selling features and amenities to prospective residents
• Showing apartments
