Compensation: $18 to $20 per hour

Overview

The Meadows is looking for a Leasing Consultant to use their customer service skills to connect with future residents and identify their wants and needs to secure lease agreements. This is a temporary position.

Responsibilities

• Generate interest by highlighting your community’s unique features and benefits and what sets it apart from the competition.
• Communicate effectively with potential residents at all stages to help call your community their home.
• Serve as a resource for residents, address their problems, and assist with finding resolutions.
• Build lasting relationships to retain and gain residents.
• Use attention to detail to perform office administrative tasks.
• Coordinate fun activities for residents.
• Process and maintain initial housing applications for programs like LIHTC, Public Housing, and Section 8.
• Determine initial eligibility and ensure continued eligibility for assisted housing programs.
• Maintain and monitor necessary EIV reports as required by HUD.
• Assist Property Management staff with income certifications as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree is a plus.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Section-8 Housing experience preferred.
• Able to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
