RentReady Homes in Plano, TX is seeking a motivated Leasing Consultant to manage leads from first contact to lease signing, coordinate showings, applications, and leasing tasks, and support field operations.

You will work with Construction, Maintenance, and Marketing to prepare homes, market listings, and guide residents through the rental process, while supervising a Leasing Assistant to keep daily activities on track.

Qualifications

• Experience in property management or customer service is required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency with property management software (AppFolio, BoomCRM) preferred.

RentReady Homes specializes in leasing single-family homes and providing a seamless rental experience for residents and property owners. We are looking for a motivated and organized Leasing Consultant to join our growing team.

This role is responsible for managing prospective renters from initial contact through lease signing, including lead follow-up, property showings, applications, and leasing coordination. The position also supports field operations and works closely with our Construction, Maintenance, and Marketing Teams to ensure homes are ready, properly marketed, and leased efficiently.

The Leasing Consultant will also oversee a Leasing Assistant, helping delegate tasks, manage follow-ups, and keep daily leasing activities on track.

• Manage and provide direction to the Leasing Assistant, including delegating tasks and monitoring follow-ups
• Identify and resolve issues that may delay the leasing process
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain clear communication with prospective residents and internal teams
• Take ownership of leads and assigned properties from initial inquiry through lease signing

Requirements

• Professional experience in property management or customer service.
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation.
• Proficiency in property management software systems like AppFolio or BoomCRM.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a busy calendar.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Comfort working weekends when necessary to support leasing activity.
