Job summary

CAPREIT is hiring a Leasing Consultant for the O'Fallon Lakes community in Missouri. You will greet applicants, showcase the property, collect applications, and highlight the community's features to prospective residents.

This role emphasizes excellent customer service and organization. The position offers $18-$20 per hour, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid time off including your birthday, and a competitive leasing commission structure.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of experience in apartment leasing.
• Affordable Housing Requirements - Bond, HUD and LIHTC is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license to operate company vehicle/golf cart.
• Experience with RealPage, OneSite, and/or Yardi, or the ability to learn such software.
• A working knowledge of current technologies and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to prospective residents by planning and participating in marketing activities to attract prospective residents; greeting applicants, showcasing the community, and collecting applications; communicating the features and benefits of the community with potential residents.
• Assist the Community Manager by processing applications in a timely manner, taking resident phone calls, following up with prospective residents, and completing additional, on-going administrative functions of the community
