Job summary

CAPREIT is seeking a Maintenance Assistant for the O'Fallon Lakes community in O'Fallon, Missouri. The role focuses on keeping common areas clean and safe, preparing vacants, and assisting with preventive maintenance.

Flexible schedule with Monday–Friday workdays and a focus on customer service. Compensation ranges from $17 to $18 per hour, plus benefits including medical, dental, and vision, 401(k) with company match, paid vacation and holidays, and a bonus/leasing commission structure.

Qualifications

• Prior janitorial/groundskeeping or housekeeping experience.
• A valid driver’s license to operate company vehicle/golf cart.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Perform all janitorial functions to keep the community clean and safe; maintain public/common areas per property specs; inspect for cleanliness and maintenance; clean and prepare vacants; complete inspection reports; assist in preventative maintenance and repairs as needed.

Responsibilities

Perform all janitorial functions required to keep the community in a clean and safe conditionby maintaining all public/common areas in accordance with property specifications, conducting frequent inspections for cleanliness and maintenance, cleaning and preparing vacant apartments for new occupancy; completing the required inspection reports and addressing any new problems as they arise, and assisting in preventative maintenance and community repairs when needed.
