Property Management Leasing Consultant Job Description

We are currently accepting resumes for a full-time Leasing Consultant position at one of our apartment communities. This role offers an excellent opportunity to join a growing, dynamic company with a promote-from-within culture.

Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Property Manager, the Leasing Consultant manages all leasing activities at the community.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Meet, greet, and tour leasing prospects.
  2. Achieve individual and group leasing targets; communicate opportunities or issues to the Property Manager.
  3. Respond promptly and effectively to online rental inquiries.
  4. Understand site leasing trends, traffic patterns, and product availability.
  5. Maintain cleanliness and functionality of sales and leasing areas, reporting issues as needed.
  6. Keep the tour route clean and well-maintained.
  7. Close sales by effectively asking for the lease.
  8. Accurately record lead information in Resman and Knock.
  9. Follow up with prospects via email, phone, or letter.
  10. Manage the community waitlist and communicate updates.
  11. Warm call prospects as necessary.
  12. Follow screening procedures properly.
  13. Prepare and execute lease agreements and move-in paperwork.
  14. Collect all necessary funds and fees.
  15. Ensure signage is properly displayed and maintained daily.
  16. Support customer service efforts at the community.
  17. Perform other duties as assigned.
