Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic, professional Leasing Agent to assist with marketing and leasing properties. Responsibilities include maintaining properties, marketing, screening tenants, and fostering positive relations with property owners and tenants. You will oversee tenant orientation, perform office management tasks, and contribute to a positive office atmosphere. Successful applicants should be organized, multitask effectively, and possess strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Record and update prospective and existing landlord and tenant details.
• Inspect properties and coordinate maintenance issues.
• Advertise available properties and conduct tours.
• Screen prospective tenants for eligibility.
• Complete lease applications and verify information.
• Inform tenants of application results.
• Inspect properties during tenant move-in and move-out.
• Liaise with tenants regarding inquiries and concerns.
• Maintain documentation accurately.
• Accept rent payments, security deposits, and fees.

Requirements

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience as a Leasing Agent or similar role.
• Knowledge of real estate, property management, and relevant laws.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
• People skills and availability for extended hours.
