About The Leasing Consultant Position

We seek a talented leasing consultant responsible for apartment rentals, move-ins, move-outs, lease renewals, and resident interactions to maximize occupancy and satisfaction.

• Provide excellent customer service, generate traffic, qualify prospects, lease apartments, and handle documentation.
• Ensure model apartments are ready for tours, orient residents, process renewals, and maintain detailed records.
• Follow up with prospects, convert calls into tours, and coordinate move-ins/outs with maintenance.
• Create and maintain resident files, prepare leasing reports, and ensure daily procedures are followed.
• Support ongoing resident relations, monitor competitive properties, and ensure building safety and cleanliness.
• Assist with work orders, clerical tasks, and resident activities to boost retention.
• Adhere to policies, safety rules, and legal requirements.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma required.
• Preferred: 1+ year sales and residential leasing experience.

Skills and Requirements

• Strong customer service, interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Experience with Yardi Voyager or similar systems preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to communicate effectively, maintain confidentiality, and work independently.
• Valid driver’s license, clean record, and auto insurance required.
• Complete Avenue5 Fair Housing, Diversity, and Inclusion Training within 30 days.
