Gilbane Development in Washington, DC seeks a Recertification & Leasing Specialist to manage certification & occupancy records, supporting Leasing & Compliance Managers onsite.

The role requires 2–4 years in affordable housing or property management, with strong organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and LIHTC documentation. Competitive benefits and retirement program are offered.

Competenze

• 2–4 years of experience in affordable housing, property management, or administrative support.
• Basic understanding of LIHTC documentation requirements (or demonstrated ability to learn quickly).
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software.

Mansioni

• Prepare and organize initial certification and annual recertification files for review.
• Track compliance deadlines and recertification schedules.
• Enter and update resident compliance information in OneSite RealPage (or equivalent system).
• Maintain and update waitlists in accordance with LIHTC and Fair Housing requirements.
• Assist with application intake and documentation collection.
• Prepare lease packets and required addenda for execution.
• Maintain tracking logs for renewals and expiring leases.
• Assist with preparation of files for internal and external audits.
