Tailwind Group is seeking a Part-time Community Assistant at The Quarters Starkville to generate leases, welcome prospective residents, and support daily property operations.

The role requires on-site presence in Starkville, MS, with a variable schedule up to 29.5 hours/week, including nights and weekends. Compensation starts at $12.00/hour with potential commission, and a strong focus on customer service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of experience in customer service, sales, or retail preferred.
• Current enrollment at the local university and status as a current/future resident is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate excellent customer service with residents, prospects, vendors, officials, and community members; prioritize others and fight for their highest possible good.
• Maintain exceptional curb appeal and take pride in property grounds, amenities, and common areas.
• Serve as the first point of contact for prospective residents and community inquiries.
• Conduct property and unit tours, present leasing options, and answer questions about community features and amenities.
• Maintain follow-up communications with prospects to maximize conversions.
• Drive leasing traffic through on-campus outreach and peer networking.
• Support resident events, move-ins, and community activities.
• Work turnover periods including nights and weekends as scheduled.
