Job summary

The Quarters Ames, a Tailwind Group property, seeks a Community Assistant to generate leases, handle tours, and support daily office operations. This in-office, part-time role places you on-campus and on-site, delivering friendly, responsive service to residents and prospects.

Hours up to 29.5 per week with rotating nights and weekends. Compensation is $12.00/hr plus commission potential, with a focus on achieving leasing and occupancy goals through strong guest engagement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in customer service, sales, or retail preferred.
• Current enrollment at the local university is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate excellent customer service with residents and prospects.
• Conduct property and unit tours, present leasing options, and answer questions.
• Maintain follow-up communication with prospects to maximize conversions.
• Drive leasing traffic via on-campus outreach and peer networking.
• Open and close the office and model unit as assigned; maintain professional appearance.
