The Job: Leasing Associate
We are Hiring for a driven, goal-oriented Leasing Associate to join our team at Braden Fellman Group in Charleston, SC!
Under the supervision of the Property Manager, the Leasing Associate is the face of Braden Fellman Group and acts as the Company's representative by conveying the benefits of our phenomenal communities. You will interact directly with prospective and current residents to achieve maximum occupancy and own the entirety of the leasing process.

As Leasing Associate you will be...
- The first person prospective resident(s) meet, as well as a connection with the residents living at the property.
- Selling future residents with an image of everything the property, community, and property management team have to offer. This includes working with prospective residents on their “must-haves” vs “prefer-to-haves” and matching it to what’s available.
- Managing much of the administrative tasks, including background/credit/income verification, move-in coordination, marketing strategies, property tours, and leasing paperwork.
- Working closely with the team (Property Manager, Assistant Property Manager & Maintenance Team) daily as it takes every position working together to manage the property successfully, including the property appearance and upkeep.
Requirements
About You:
- Strong communicator who is personable, positive, and comfortable talking to people.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and negotiation skills.
- College degree preferred; GED/high school diploma required with a proven track record of experience.
- Prior experience as a leasing associate or in a similar position is a plus.
- Flexible, personally motivated, and someone who enjoys being a part of a team that achieves goals together.
- A natural problem solver with great organizational skills, detail-oriented, and loves to meet deadlines.
- Strong computer skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Suite and property management software. Experience with RealPage and KNOCK is a plus.

- Basic understanding of Federal, State, and local Fair Housing laws.
