Job summary

Houston Apartment Foundation is seeking a Leasing Agent for a newly developed multifamily community. You will conduct tours, showcase floor plans, and manage inquiries to drive leases and occupancy.

Responsibilities include processing applications, screenings, preparing leases, and coordinating move-ins. You will contribute to opening-day operations and ensure a welcoming experience for prospective residents.

• Assisted with the lease-up and initial launch of a newly developed multifamily apartment community, supporting occupancy and leasing goals.
• Conducted property tours, showcased apartment homes, and highlighted community amenities, features, and floor plans to prospective residents.
• Managed incoming leads, responded to leasing inquiries, and conducted follow-ups to convert prospects into leases.
• Processed rental applications, completed applicant screenings, and prepared lease agreements in accordance with company policies and Fair Housing regulations.
• Maintained accurate prospect records, leasing activity, and follow-up schedules using property management software and CRM systems.
• Supported marketing initiatives, outreach efforts, and resident referral programs to increase traffic and drive lease conversions.
• Collaborated with the property management team to coordinate move-ins, apartment availability, and unit readiness.
• Delivered exceptional customer service throughout the leasing process, from initial inquiry through move-in.
• Monitored leasing performance, lead conversion, and occupancy progress to help achieve lease-up targets.
