Job summary

Houston Apartment Association in Kemah, TX is seeking a leasing professional to support the opening and operation of a newly developed multifamily community. You will conduct tours, showcase layouts, manage inquiries, and guide applicants through leasing and move-in processes.

This role emphasizes customer service, lead conversion, and collaboration with the property management team to ensure unit readiness and occupancy targets are met at launch.

Responsibilities

• Assisted with lease-up and initial launch of a newly developed multifamily apartment community
• Conducted property tours, showcased apartment homes, and highlighted amenities, features, and floor plans
• Managed incoming leads, responded to leasing inquiries, and followed up to convert prospects into leases
• Processed rental applications, completed applicant screenings, and prepared lease agreements in accordance with policies and Fair Housing regulations
• Maintained prospect records, leasing activity, and follow-up schedules using property management software and CRM systems
• Supported marketing initiatives, outreach efforts, and resident referral programs to increase traffic and drive lease conversions
• Collaborated with the property management team to coordinate move-ins, apartment availability, and unit readiness
• Delivered exceptional customer service throughout the leasing process from inquiry to move-in
• Monitored leasing performance, lead conversion, and occupancy progress to help achieve lease-up targets
