Job summary

Adara Communities is seeking an Apartment Leasing Agent to join its team. The role focuses on greeting, qualifying, and closing prospects, leasing apartments to maintain occupancy, verifying applications, and handling leasing paperwork with a customer-first approach.

You will drive traffic through outreach, host resident events, and manage social media presence while supporting the property manager in daily tasks. Weekend availability and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year(s) leasing conventional apartments (REQUIRED)
• Strong sales and leasing skills with a proven ability to close
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• A positive attitude, flexibility, and a polished and professional appearance
• Flexible schedule – weekends REQUIRED
• Social media or marketing content creation experience strongly preferred
• Stable work history
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required
• Candidates must live within a 20-mile radius of the property or be willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Stand, greet, qualify, and close prospects with professionalism and enthusiasm
• Lease apartments to maintain high occupancy and strong leasing performance
• Verify applications, process leasing paperwork, and ensure accurate documentation
• Provide exceptional customer services to residents and prospects
• Generate new traffic through outreach efforts and community engagement
• Host resident functions and contribute to maintaining positive resident relations
• Create and maintain the property's social media presence to drive traffic and engagement
• Support the Property Manager and/or Leasing Manager with daily operational tasks
• Represent the community with a friendly and professional demeanor
