Job summary

APG is seeking a Leasing Agent for Odyssey at Laurel Island, a 192-unit community in Kingsland, GA. You will be the first contact for prospective residents, market apartments, lead tours, and guide applicants through the leasing process to help meet occupancy goals.

This role requires strong communication, sales, and customer service skills, with the ability to multitask and utilize property management software. Weekend availability and a professional, customer-focused approach are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous leasing, sales, or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication, customer service, sales, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build relationships with prospects and residents, follow up on leads, overcome objections, and close leases.
• Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications and property management software.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Market available apartments and respond promptly to prospective residents.
• Conduct property tours and follow up with leads to secure new leases.
• Process rental applications according to APG's written screening criteria, applied consistently to every applicant.
• Prepare lease agreements.
• Maintain accurate records in the property management system.
• Assist current residents and support resident retention efforts.
• Ensure the property is presented professionally.
• Meet occupancy and leasing goals.
• Comply with Fair Housing laws and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
