Job summary

Cal Am Properties Inc, a leading operator of RV resorts, manufactured home communities and apartment communities in the United States, is seeking a Leasing Agent in Gilbert, AZ. You will tour properties with prospective tenants, assist with marketing vacancies, and process lease and payment terms.

The role requires strong organizational skills, ability to run background checks, and collaboration with the leasing team to ensure accurate documentation and compliance with lease policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education High School
• Minimum Experience 1-2 Years
• Minimum Field of Expertise Secretarial or specialized clerical including some administrative experience
• Preferred Education Bachelors Degree
• Preferred Experience 3 Years
• Preferred Field of Expertise Combined secretarial and administrative experience in a business environment

Responsibilities

• Provide potential tenants with a tour of the property highlighting the features of the building
• Assist in the marketing and advertising of vacancies on media advert channels to attract potential tenants
• Run background checks on potential tenants
• Communicate the terms of the lease, rental rate and period of payment to tenants
• Conduct a market survey to obtain information on competing lease rates and occupancy trends
• Ensure proper documentation and storage of leasing files
• Assist the leasing manager/community manager in walking apartments for ready status
• Identify and report state or federal law changes affecting lease rules onsite
• Ensure confidentiality and timely completion of work

Schedule

• Tuesday to Friday from 900 am to 500 pm
• Saturdays from 1000 am to 400 pm

Responsibilities

• Provide potential tenants with a tour of the property or home highlighting the valuable features of the building
• Assist in the marketing and advertising of vacancies on mediaadvert channels to attract potential tenants
• Run background checks on potential tenants
• Communicate the terms of the lease rental rate and period of payment to tenants
• Conduct a survey of the property market to obtain information on competing lease rates and other trends that affect occupancyrent
• Ensure the proper documentation and storage of leasing files
• Assist the leasing managercommunity manager in walking apartments for ready status
• Identify and report any state or federal law changes that effect the property lease rules or other guidelines used onsite
• Ensures confidentiality and controls access to sensitive information
• Ensures timely completion of their work

Job Qualifications

• Minimum Education High School
• Minimum Experience 1 2 Years
• Minimum Field of Expertise Secretarial or specialized clerical including some administrative experience
• Preferred Education Bachelors Degree
• Preferred Experience 3 Years
• Preferred Field of Expertise Combined secretarial and administrative experience in a business environment
• Must have a valid Drivers License and clean driving record
