Job summary

American Homes 4 Rent, L.P. is seeking a Leasing Agent to drive occupancy through consultative selling and strong relationship building.

You will respond to inquiries, present housing options, negotiate leases, and guide applicants through the leasing journey while ensuring compliance with applicable laws. The role requires a high school diploma, at least 3 years of sales or customer-facing experience, real estate or property management familiarity, and a state real estate license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum three (3) years of related sales or customer-facing sales experience required.
• Leasing, real estate, or property management experience preferred.
• A valid State Real Estate License is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) required.
• Outstanding communication abilities and analytical skills to solve problems effectively.
