Job summary

American Homes 4 Rent, L.P. is seeking a Leasing Agent in Roswell, GA to be the primary sales representative for prospective residents and drive occupancy through consultative selling and lease conversions.

Responsibilities include engaging with potential tenants, presenting housing options, negotiating terms, and ensuring compliance with leasing laws. Weekend availability and a valid real estate license are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years of related sales or customer-facing sales experience required.

Responsibilities include prospect rapport prospective resident needs, presenting compelling housing solutions, and closing leases.Responsibilities:Drives leasing performance by responding to and following up on inquiries from perspective residentsEngage with potential tenants, offering compelling insights into our housing options to encourage applications.Skillfully negotiate lease terms and provide thorough explanations of leases and related documents to new tenants.Performs leasing activities in accordance with applicable laws to maximize housing occupancyCollaborate with underwriting and leasing teams to navigate applicants through the leasing journey.Stay informed about our company’s policies and procedures to ensure compliance and up-to-date practices.Requirements:Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.A High School Diploma or GED required.Minimum three (3) years of related sales or customer-facing sales experience required.Leasing, real estate, or property management experience preferred.A valid State Real Estate License is required.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) is required.Outstanding communication abilities and analytical skills to solve problems effectively.Ability to build relationships, organize tasks, and deliver top-notch customer service.Flexibility to work weekends is required.CompensationThe anticipated pay range/scale for this position is $25 Hourly.
