Responsibilities

The Leasing Agent reports to the General Manager and is responsible for assisting with daily property operations to ensure customer satisfaction, fiscal stability, and good physical condition.

• Assist with leasing to ensure high occupancy, including mailing renewal offers, logging responses, and managing property availability.
• Maintain accurate records of availability compatible with lease renewal reports.
• Approve, enter, and present rental applications to the General Manager for approval.
• Manage property licenses and renewal processes in coordination with legal counsel and the City.
• Assist with check-out procedures, including accepting keys and inspecting vacated units.
• Ensure accurate and efficient lease signing and resident check-ins.
• Respond promptly to resident concerns and complaints, fostering good relations and reporting to the General Manager.
• Prepare weekly performance reports as required.
• Assist in developing and implementing marketing and resident retention programs.
• Maintain courteous communication with residents, applicants, staff, and vendors.
• Handle administrative duties such as filing and typing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• Valid driver's license and insurance preferred.
• Proficiency with office equipment and computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Entrata (preferred).
• Accurate record-keeping and numerical analysis skills.
• Ability to follow laws and deadlines, demonstrate professionalism, and provide excellent customer service.
