Job summary

The Tipton Group is seeking an outgoing Leasing Agent to join our team. This role focuses on greeting residents, conducting tours, handling inquiries, and guiding applicants through the leasing process with a sales mindset.

Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year of leasing experience, strong customer service, and proficient use of OneSite. A fast-paced property management environment awaits, with opportunities for advancement and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of apartment leasing experience.
• Working knowledge of OneSite property management software.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Sales-oriented with strong follow-up skills.
• Organized and detail-oriented.
• Professional, dependable, and team-focused.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced property management environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospective and current residents in a friendly and professional manner.
• Conduct apartment and community tours with prospective residents.
• Respond to leasing inquiries by phone, email, online leads, and in person.
• Follow up daily with prospective residents and assist them throughout the leasing process.
• Build rapport with prospects and help convert leads into new residents.
• Provide information regarding apartment availability, pricing, amenities, and community features.
• Prepare leasing documents, applications, and other required paperwork.
• Collect applicable deposits, fees, and payments.
• Maintain accurate prospect and resident information in OneSite.
• Assist with resident questions and provide excellent customer service.
• Work with the property management team to support occupancy and resident retention goals.
