Job summary

The Liberty Group is hiring experienced Apartment Leasing Consultants in New Jersey to turn strong tours into signed leases. Pay ranges from $21 to $23 per hour, depending on experience.

Greet and tour prospective residents; highlight the living experience, secure lease agreements and assist with applications and screenings. Track leads, manage the leasing pipeline, and support renewals and resident events. Familiar with Fair Housing and leasing best practices; weekend hours may be required.

Qualifications

• 6+ months apartment / multi-family leasing experience
• Familiar with Fair Housing and leasing best practices
• Valid government-issued ID
• Comfortable with phones, email, and customer-facing sales conversations
• (If required) Available to work weekends / peak touring hours

Responsibilities

• 6+ months apartment / multi-family leasing experience
• Familiar with Fair Housing and leasing best practices
• Valid government-issued ID
• Comfortable with phones, email, and customer-facing sales conversations

What you’ll do

Preferred (not required)

• Property management software experience (Yardi, RealPage/OneSite, MRI, AppFolio, etc.)
• Luxury, lease-up, rehab, or tax credit (LIHTC) experience
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a strong plus
