Draper and Kramer in Chicago’s West Loop seeks a Leasing Agent to manage apartment tours, process applications and respond to inquiries. The role emphasizes strong communication, a friendly demeanor and the ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications include 1–2 years in sales or customer service, IL Leasing Agent License (or within 120 days), and proficiency with Microsoft Office. The package includes hourly pay, commissions and benefits.

TheLeasing Agent’s responsibilities may vary slightly based on location; however, strong communication skills and a personable demeanor are key factors to success. The ability to multi-task and be adaptive to changing responsibilities while maintaining a positive attitude is also crucial. This position is located in the West Loop, Chicago.

Schedule

Responsibilities

• Complies with local and federal Fair Housing Standards
• Touring prospects and leasing apartments
• Responsible for updating resident databases
• Process applications
• Responds to residents’ inquiries
• Conducts inspections of vacant apartments

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 1-2 years of experience in sales and customer service, previous leasing experience required
• Illinois leasing license or ability to obtain within 120 days from date of hire
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Approachable and friendly demeanor
• Strong time management, organizational and problem-solving skills
• Must be able to work with all levels of employees

Compensation

• Hourly Rate Range for this position: $18.00 - $23.00
