The Leasing Agent reports to the General Manager. This position assists with daily property operations to ensure customer satisfaction, fiscal stability, and good physical condition.

1. Assist with leasing to ensure high occupancy levels, including mailing renewal offers, logging responses, and managing property availability.
2. Maintain accurate records of availability compatible with lease renewal reports.
3. Approve, enter, and present rental applications to the General Manager for approval.
4. Manage property licenses and renewals, liaising with legal counsel and the City.
5. Assist with the check-out process, ensuring compliance with account statements, accepting keys, and inspecting vacated units.
6. Ensure accurate and efficient leases and resident check-ins.
7. Respond promptly to resident concerns and complaints, fostering good relations and reporting to the General Manager.
8. Assist in preparing weekly performance reports.
9. Help develop and implement marketing and resident retention programs.
10. Maintain courteous communication with residents, applicants, employees, and vendors.
11. Handle administrative duties such as filing and typing.
12. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain, a valid driver’s license, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Entrata is preferred.
13. Additional skills include accurate record-keeping, numerical analysis, legal document preparation, and adherence to laws.
14. Demonstrate a positive, professional attitude, excellent customer service, effective communication, and logical thinking.
