Job summary

Columbia Residential is seeking a Community Lease-Up Specialist in Atlanta to drive leasing for newly built or renovated affordable-housing communities. You will work with management and marketing teams to implement leasing strategies and handle administrative leasing operations.

The role emphasizes resident screening, lease management, and reporting. On-site work with substantial travel, and flexibility for evenings/weekends, is required to meet occupancy goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1–2 years leasing or property management experience.
• Affordable Housing experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of RealPage leasing software.
• On-site role with up to 75% travel.
• Flexible evenings and weekends to accommodate residents.

Responsibilities

• Lease and sales: respond to inquiries, tour communities, match residents to units, negotiate leases.
• Resident relations: build relationships with residents, ensure smooth move-in process.
• Lease administration: screening, eligibility checks, income verification, program applications.
• Reporting and analysis: provide updates on leasing activity, occupancy, and marketing efforts.
