Job Title

Lease‑Up Property Manager

Salary

$75,000 to $85,000 per year

Responsibilities
  • Manage daily property operations, including resident satisfaction, lease administration, rent collection, delinquency management, P&L, and marketing.
  • Meet client expectations and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Recruit, interview, provide corrective feedback, and hire staff.
  • Create a climate for associates to perform by leading, communicating a shared vision, and providing coaching and development.
  • Execute strategic marketing plans to attract and retain residents.
  • Understand and implement operational guidelines from the property management agreement.
  • Address resident complaints, serve as liaison to residents and corporate office, and enforce landlord rules and regulations.
  • Maintain professional knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing publications, and networking.
  • Organize and implement natural disaster and emergency evacuation plans.
  • Manage safety records, loss claims, and risk‑management initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Two to three years of property‑management experience required.
  • One to two years of direct management experience required.
  • Knowledge of resident rental lifecycle activities required.
  • Real‑estate license preferred or may be required in some locations.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com preferred.
  • Prior experience with Yardi Voyager or a similar system preferred.
