Job summary

EMBREY is seeking a Lease-Up Community Manager for Stateswood in Charlotte, NC. You will lead a property management team, drive occupancy, set budgets and maintain resident relations, reporting to the Regional Manager.

Ideal candidates have lease-up experience, five years onsite property management, two years of supervisory experience, and proficiency with Yardi, Adobe, and Microsoft Office. Valid driver’s license and high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Property Management.
• Five years industry experience onsite.
• Lease-Up experience required.
• Two years of management/supervisory experience.
• Experience utilizing Yardi, Adobe and Microsoft Office Suite.
• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Maintain rapport with vendors, residents, employees, equity partners and construction personnel.
• Manage the property and supervise the staff in accordance with company policies.
• Professionally resolve tenant complaints and property concerns.
• Optimize occupancy and net revenues and operate the property in a cost-effective manner.
• Hire, train and develop personnel.
• Establish and execute an effective resident retention plan, including renewals and managing lease expirations within an established ideal matrix.
• Establish and execute an effective marketing and occupancy plan.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency, cost savings and improved technology that will benefit the company and employees and assist in finding solutions.
