Job summary

West Shore is seeking a Community Manager for our upscale apartment community in Waxhaw, NC. This full-time role leads leasing production under the Regional Manager, ensuring high occupancy and superior resident service.

You will supervise leasing/marketing and maintenance staff, manage turnover, review financials, and communicate with owners. The position offers training, advancement opportunities and a strong, promote-from-within culture.

Responsibilities

• Maximize rental revenue by maintaining high occupancy and minimizing vacancy loss.
• Lead and supervise leasing/marketing and maintenance staff.
• Oversee turnover processes including inspections and applications.
• Analyze market trends, rents, and concessions to improve NOI.
• Review monthly financial statements and manage site invoices.
• Administer tenant leases and maintain strong tenant relations.
• Prepare annual budgets and report to owners monthly/quarterly.
• Supervise third-party vendors and bid processes.
• Complete other tasks as assigned.
