Job summary

Meta is seeking a Lease Construction Manager to oversee delivery of leased data center facilities powering its global infrastructure. You will represent Meta on colocation and build-to-suit projects, ensuring shell-and-core construction, critical systems, and tenant improvements meet Meta's specs and schedules.

You’ll work with real estate, design engineering, and data center operations from lease execution to handover, coordinating with landlords and contractors across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of work experience in construction management.
• General knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of industry standards, building codes and safety standards including fire protection regulations.
• Knowledge of capital budget management.
• Negotiation skills and experience providing solutions to problems.
• Experience using Primavera P6 for construction scheduling.
• Proficient working knowledge of Google Workspace.
• Proficient working knowledge of Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Meta's owner's representative on leased data center projects, managing landlord obligations from groundbreaking through occupancy.
• Review landlord construction documents to ensure alignment with Meta's standards.
• Monitor site progress on colocation and build-to-suit sites with regular site visits.
• Coordinate tenant improvement activities and manage GC and subcontractors.
• Track schedules, budgets, and change orders; provide status updates to stakeholders.
• Lead milestone reviews, factory tests, and integrated systems testing of infrastructure.
• Escalate risks and delays to landlords and drive resolution via contracts.
• Collaborate with commissioning teams to ensure smooth handover to operations.
• Track landlord delivery obligations and lease milestones.
• Contribute to standardization and vendor qualification processes.
