Job summary

Oxy is seeking a Land Operations Analyst to analyze and input lease and contract data, prepare releases, and manage monthly lease calendars to track rentals and expirations. You will ensure accuracy across land systems and support related payments and obligations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 0–4 years of experience or 8+ years in lieu, strong MS Office skills, and knowledge of land terminology. Travel is 0–10% with a 9/80 work schedule and relocation eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and input lease and contract data to ensure accuracy across land systems.
• Prepare full releases and Exhibit A documents for assignments and contracts.
• Maintain monthly lease calendars to track rentals, shutas, expirations, and payments.
• Determine rental payments and expirations to keep leases in good standing.
• Review lease obligations monthly and make recommendations on rentals and expirations.
• Process payments and billing records from ownership changes and related transactions.
• Identify and resolve routine anomalies and refer complex issues to senior staff.
• Maintain and update land records, including payments, amendments, and supporting docs.
• Research private and public records to support lease administration and issue resolution.
• Respond to landowner inquiries and collaborate with Land Operations and Lease teams.
• Assist with preparation of pooling, communitization, and exhibit documentation.
• Support Land Operations and Lease team on special projects and initiatives.
