Job summary

Trader Joe's seeks an experienced Lease Administrator to manage relationships with landlords and oversee a portfolio of over 200 leased locations and warehouses.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of lease administration experience in a multi-unit environment, with strong analytic and communication skills. Proficiency in Tango and Projectmates is highly desirable; in-office presence is expected five days a week at Monrovia, CA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in real estate or property management.
• 3–5 years of lease administration experience in multi-unit environments.
• Ability to review and interpret lease documents.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review and process invoices, CAM/Tax/Insurance budgets and reconciliations.
• Abstract, interpret, and summarize leases while inputting into Tango; maintain documents.
• Respond to landlord billing/lease inquiries and correspondence.
• Assist in insurance administration for lease requirements.
• Calculate and process monthly percentage rent payments.
• Collect subtenant rent and bill CAM reimbursements as required by leases.
• Complete special projects as required.
• Assist in preparing waivers, SNDAs, estoppels, and amendments.
• Obtain landlord approvals for remodels and special projects.
• Respond to internal requests for lease interpretations.
