Job summary

The Chicago School is hiring a Learning Specialist to support students at IllinoisCOM and pre-professional tracks, delivering one-on-one and group academic coaching across modalities.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in education or related field, with 3+ years of teaching experience, knowledge of learning theories, and proficiency with educational technologies and learning management systems. Hybrid role on Chicago campus.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in education, educational psychology, or related field.
• Minimum of three years teaching and creating effective study strategies for adult learners.
• Familiarity with pre-health and health professions skills and assessments.
• Experience with blended and online learning environments and LMS.
• Strong communication and collaboration with faculty and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and group academic coaching and skills instruction.
• Develop and monitor individualized academic plans and transitions to advanced programs.
• Create workshops, webinars, and resources to support diverse learning needs.
• Refer students to tutoring, counseling, or further evaluation when needed.
• Collaborate with ASC staff and IllinoisCOM to ensure equity in student success.
