Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
• Five+ years of experience working directly with students in special education or learning support.
• Knowledge of learning and attentional differences and their implications for academic access.
• Ability to interpret psychoeducational evaluations and apply findings to learning strategies and accommodations.
• Familiarity with Universal Design for Learning and the social model of disability.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with caseload and testing logistics.

Responsabilités

• Manage an ongoing caseload of students with individualized support in learning strategies, organization, planning, and self-advocacy.
• Guide students and families through the Learning Plan process and accommodations.
• Coordinate support with teachers and families; monitor progress and adjust strategies.
• Provide tutoring and interventions for students with academic challenges.
• Develop and facilitate workshops on metacognition, organization, and self-regulation.
• Coordinate accommodations for PSAT, SAT, AP exams and testing logistics.
