Job summary

ABS Kids is seeking a Learning Specialist in Wildomar, CA to present training materials, coordinate curriculum updates, and support trainee completion of required courses. The role involves both virtual and in-person delivery within a full-time permanent Training position.

Ideal candidates have adult learning experience, at least 1 year as an RBT, and a current RBT certification (or higher). HIPAA knowledge and training experience are preferred; a Bachelor’s degree is also favored.

• Experience with adult learning concepts and delivery.
• Minimum one year experience as an RBT required.

Responsibilities

• Present training materials both virtually and in person
• Troubleshoot training issues with Regional Learning Coordinator/Director of Training
• Coordinate specialized training and credential management
• Coordinate shadow sessions
• Assist with keeping training curriculum up to date
• Assist with ensuring trainees complete required courses by due date
• Help with follow up after training to ensure satisfaction with program
• Be the point person for troubleshooting technology/systems issues
• Organize and maintain training information and records
• Report to Regional Learning Supervisors

Job Requirements

ABS Kids is looking for a Learning Specialist to join our team at our ABA Center in Wildomar, CA. The Learning department ensures that all new hires connect with ABS Kids' mission, and values, as well as feel confident and prepared for their new roles with ABS Kids. This is a full-time, permanent Training position. We would not be able to provide supervision hours for an RBT that is pursuing a BCBA. Our Administrative Support team members play a vital role in advancing our mission to make a difference in the lives of children with autism spectrum disorder and their families. Every team member at ABS Kids is passionate about providing best in class support to our direct care team, who in turn deliver the highest quality ABA therapy to our clients.

Compensation and Benefits:

• $23 / hour - based on qualifications
• Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

You Will:

• Present all training materials both virtually and in person
• Troubleshoot any potential training problems with Regional Learning Coordinator/Director of Training
• Coordinate specialized training and credential management
• Coordinate shadow sessions
• Assist with keeping training curriculum up to date
• Assist with ensuring all trainees complete required courses by assigned due date
• Help with follow up after training to ensure satisfaction with program
• Be the point person for troubleshooting any technology, system, or other issues that may arise
• Organize and maintain training information and records

You Have:

• Experience with Adult Learning to include how adults learn and acquire knowledge
• Minimum High School Diploma, Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Must maintain a current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or higher through the BACB
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an RBT
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
• Experience in a training position preferred
